Heindrichs and Schmitz shone at the Rally Citta di Foligno

Tom Heindrichs and Jonas Schmitz kicked off their preparations for the European season in Italy this weekend, taking part in the opening round of the national gravel championship, the Rally Citta di Foligno. Competing in their Opel Corsa Rally4 for the second time on gravel, they steadily improved to finish in 21st place overall and to be fastest in the last loop. They secured the silver medal in the Rally4 class, just under twenty seconds behind the winning Lancia Ypsilon HF Rally4.

“Very happy with the result!” said Tom. “We stuck to our plan, made a few set-up changes and found a good foundation for the upcoming events. A solid start to the season on which we can build.”
